Win Cirque du Soleil Tickets at the Library

Win tickets to Kooza, the latest traveling Cirque du Soleil show courtesy of the library!

Adult cardholders (age 18 and over) are eligible to enter to win a pair of tickets to the performance on Wednesday, July 2 at 8 p.m. Tickets are not exchangeable.

To enter, please come to the Adult Reference desk to fill out an entry form. Limit one entry per person. Entries will be accepted through Friday, June 13.

The winner will be notified by phone.

Rocco wins a Buick in a game of poker, but when he gets it home, his sister Rhodi has a "feeling" and discovers a baby in the back seat. Lucy is raised by these adoptive aunts, and when the last one dies, she sets out to find her biological family. The aunts' ghosts appear to her to help guide her on her quest.

Found Art Jewelry Program

There is still time to register for this jewelry making program!

Girls in grades 4-12 and interested women accompanied by participants can make a necklace out of found and recylclable objects. Mixed Media Artist, Dana Perea, will instruct an Art Workshop, using jewelry, collage, inspiring words and phrases, beads, rubber stamps and a potluck of found & recycled objects discovered by the artist herself. Danawill tap patrons’ insights into the possibilities of their surroundings by making a unique jewelry piece! Maximum class size is 20.
