Last night, Book Club discussed The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs. Because this book describes the lives of the members of a knitting circle, we combined our book discussion with a knitting demonstration. One member, Kat D., led our group through the various knitting techniques, from the slip knot to the knit stitch. In addition to Kat, those members who had knitted before shared their skills with those new to the craft. If you couldn't make our discussion last night, Kat made this instructional video on knitting.
